Nationally, over 13,000 people were without permanent accommodation.
A record number of people were homeless in the midlands in November.
Figures from the Department of Housing show 219 people were without permanent accommodation in the region, an increase of 22 when compared to October.
Westmeath accounted for the largest proportion of adults accessing emergency accommodation in the midlands in November, with a figure of 68.
That number is 53 in Offaly, and Laois continues to have the smallest figure in the region, at 32.
Of the 219 people who were homeless in November, 65 were children.
Around the country, 13,514 people were without permanent accommodation, which is an increase of over 300 in comparison to October.
It's also a 17 percent jump on the same period in 2022.
4,105 children were homeless, which is the largest figure on record.
The figures released by the Department of Housing do not include refugees, asylum seekers, women in refuge centres or rough sleepers.
