Job opportunities across the midlands are expected to be on the rise this year.
Hiring agency, FRS Recruitment, is forecasting a 7% growth in 'recruitment opportunities' Laois.
The figure is 6% in Westmeath and Offaly respectively.
While on a national basis they also expect to see a 10% increase in recruitment around the country.
In the midlands, jobs are forecast to come up in healthcare, commercial accounts, clerical work, agri-business, and construction.
