The cost of renting in the midlands continues to rise.
Offaly has seen the largest increase in the third quarter of 3.7% followed by Westmeath at 3.2% and Laois on 2.8%.
It means Laois and Westmeath now have an average rent of more than €1,000 per month according to the latest Daft.ie rental report.
Offaly remains one three areas of Leinster with an average of less than 1,000 along with Wexford and Longford.
