Report Finds Sense Of "Deep Loss And Anxiety" Among Ash Tree Farmers

The report is a response to the spread of ash dieback.

A review group has found that there is a sense of "deep loss and anxiety" for ash plantation workers following recent devastation in the spreading of ash dieback. 

Offaly Junior Agriculture Minister Pippa Hackett has published the report into the Department of Agriculture's response to the fungal disease in ash trees. 

The Independent Review Group also found "considerable enthusiasm" for the establishment of an 'ash task force'.
