RSA Made A 'Scapegoat' - Irish Road Victims Association

The Government plans to disband the RSA before the general election.

The RSA have been made a 'scapegoat' for the Government to hide the fact they were provided with no State funding.

That's according to Vice President of the Irish Road Victims Association Leo Leighio.

It comes as the Government has revealed its plans to disband the RSA before the general election-and reassign functions such as running driving tests and NCT's to a new agency.

Leo Leighio says if this new body is formed, cooperation between the new agency and the Government is key:
