Larissa Tormey, who moved from Russia over 20 years ago, says she was left "broken hearted" when war broke out in Ukraine.
A concert, in aid of the Red Cross, will take place in the Tuar Ard Arts Centre in Moate this evening, and will also feature former Eurovision winner Charlie McGettigan, Offaly's Alex Roe and Caitriona O' Sullivan.
She hopes the gig will help those fleeing the conflict:
