Schools "Packed To Capacity" As Offaly Children Struggle For Places

One parent says her child's mental health will suffer from the uncertainty of the situation.

Parents in Offaly are struggling to find a place for their children as schools are 'packed to capacity.'

That's according to Tullamore mum, Amanda Rattigan, who can't secure a place for her son in Colaiste Choilm in the upcoming academic year.

The only nearby options for her son are schools in Clara and Kilbeggan, which Ms. Rattigan says are unsuitable.
