Some Of Ashling Murphy's Final Movements Were Shown In Court Today

The trial will resume on Monday.

Some of Ashling Murphy's last movements before she died were shown at the Central Criminal Court this afternoon.

There was also footage shown of Jozef Puska, who has pleaded not guilty to her murder, in Tullamore.

CCTV footage of a man who the prosecution alleges to be Jozef Puska and his movements from 12.25 around the Tullamore area on the afternoon of January 12th 2022 were shown to the jury this afternoon.

There was also footage of Ashling Murphy leaving the school where she worked that afternoon, and of her car making its way to the Grand Canal area.

She's later seen parking her car and exiting it.

It took up a large portion of the afternoon session, with some footage being shown to the jury of nine men and three women this morning.

Earlier we heard from a paramedic who arrived on the scene of where Ashling Murphy's body was found, and he told the jury she had already died before a defibrillator could be used.

Clothes and jewellery Ms. Murphy was wearing on the day she died were shown to the jury, including a blood-stained GAA top, white t-shirt and scarf.

33-year-old Mr Puzka, of Lynally Grove, Mucklagh, Offaly, denies her murder.

The trial resumes on Monday.
