Structures Need Altering If Disability Was Not Taken Into Account During Planning

An LE Candidate says he has seen this issue with footpaths, carparks and housing.

Not taking disability into account during planning, means spending money to alter structures once they are completed.

That's the view of Local Election Candidate for Athlone Moate, Conor Dowling - Linehan who says this issue can be seen in footpaths, carparks and houses.

He says the issue of people living wih disabilites getting access to housing is an issue that has been overlooked for too long in Athlone.
