The journey saw a Laois man travel 800 kilometres on ice.
A documentary detailing a "treacherous" adventure over ice as part of a World Record breaking effort will be broadcast tonight.
Laois' Gary O'Keefe traveled 800 kilometres by truck and Declan McEvoy by motorbike over Lake Baikal in Siberia throughout a period of seven days.
It was in a bid to break the record for the longest 4x4 journey on ice, as well as the longest motorcycle journey.
A documentary of their effort will be aired, this evening, at 10.10pm on RTE 1.
