"Year On Year Underfunding" Is Selling Students Short - TUS President Vincent Cunnane

The President of TUS says funding increases have been cancelled out by inflation.

Students at TUS Athlone are using outdated computers and research equipment due to under-funding. 

That's according to President of the Technological University of the Shannon, Vincent Cunnane, who says recent funding increases have been cancelled out by inflation.

TUS is calling on greater supports for the third-level sector in Budget 2025, with it pushing for an increase in student accommodation in particular.
