Gillian Tracey's four year-old son was killed by a drunk driver near Portarlington seven years ago, prompting her to get involved in the Road Safety Authority.
Gillian - and Irish Road Victims' Association founder Donna Price, who lost her son in a crash in 2006 - were appointed to the RSA's board of directors in 2018.
The Transport Minister has re-appointed them both, to serve for a further three years.
