Donald Trump's 'Liberation Day' tariffs will be announced this evening.

World leaders are bracing themselves for Donald Trump's tariff announcement in a matter of hours.

The US President is expected to impose taxes of around 20 per cent on most imports at 9 pm Irish time.

Markets, business leaders and workers will watch anxiously to see how they may be impacted from tonight's set piece from the Rose Garden at the White House.

Companies in the Midlands are nervously waiting to see how incoming tariffs from Donald Trump will affect their overseas markets in the US.

Mullingar-based craft beverage can company Bevcraft employs 20 people in Westmeath and 40 more people across Europe, Canada and the US.
