A second weather warning has been issued for parts of the midlands, as Storm Lilian lands.
The latest is a Status Yellow rain alert, which affects Westmeath, Offaly, Clare, Galway, Roscommon, Longford, Louth, and Meath - that will come into effect from 10pm tonight until 4am tomorrow.
Met Éireann is warning of heavy rain, and the possibility of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
While a Status Yellow wind warning will impact Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow and Munster from midnight until 6am in the morning.
That could lead to unseasonably strong and gusty winds, as well as the potential for power outages and fallen trees, according to the forecaster.
