Westmeath School Welcomes Offaly Teens Unable To Secure A School Place

The teens had been without a place for the first five weeks of the academic year, as schools in Tullamore were at capacity.

A Westmeath school has opened its doors to two Offaly teenagers who were unable to secure a school place.

Amanda Rattigan's sons had been without a place for the first five weeks of the academic year, as schools in Tullamore were at capacity.

However, they've been offered a place in Kilbeggan Secondary School.

Ms Rattigans says she's grateful to the Principal in Kilbeggan for giving her boys education:
