Westmeath Teens Feel Responsible For Their Actions While Driving - Westmeath Comhairle na nÓg

One of their members recently received a Garda Youth Award for hosting a road safety event.

Westmeath Teenagers feel more responsible for their actions on the roads. 

That's according to Charlie Claffey, a member of the Westmeath Comhairle na nÓg, who recently received a Garda Youth Award for hosting a road safety event for over 1,500 Transition Year students in Athlone last September.
 
The Garda youth awards also recognised the Battery Heights Older Girls Group from Athlone, as they painted a mural in their local area.
