A time capsule buried at the start of the millennium in a Westmeath village has been reopened.
Milltownpass Ccouts buried their memorabilia on the 1st of January 2000 and made a plan to open it 25 years later.
The children and leaders were invited back for the reopening on Sunday where they found letters, receipts, predictions and pictures.
Loretto Flanagan, former Scout Leader in Milltownpass has been speaking with Midlands 103's Will Faulkner and says it was emotional to see the items again:
