Witness Appeal Following Number Of Burglaries In Offaly

€1,000 worth of damage done to a house in the process.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a number of burglaries in Offaly.

A home in Kilcormac was ransacked and a copper cylinder was stolen.

Entry to the house was gained through the rear and approximately €1,000 worth of damage was done.

In Pollagh, a number of valuable items were stolen from a shed.

A KTM junior modal motorcycle was taken. The bike is orange with a black seat.

A Boardman chrome-coloured bicycle, an air compressor and a chainsaw were also stolen.

Gardaí are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in either the Kilcormac or Pullagh area from Tuesday 6th to Tuesday 13th September to contact Birr Garda Station.
