A massive increase in the number of people over the age of 65 living in rental accommodation is "worrying," according to Irish Rural Link.
Figures from the CSO show 83% more people in that age group were renting in 2022, when compared to 2016.
In Laois, the increase is much larger, at 114%.
That's followed by 105% in Offaly, and 71% in Westmeath.
