The race brought competitors out of Tullamore through Mucklagh and Killurin and back again.
1,300 runners took to the start line on Saturday to take part in the Bord na Mona Tullamore Half Marathon.
For the first time in the race's history, it served as the National and Leinster Half Marathon Championships as well.
The men and women's course record was broken by the 2023 winners, Ryan Creech in the men's and Natasha Adams in the women's.
Leevale AC's Creech won in a time of 1:05:47, while Adams crossed the line in the Harriers' stadium with a time of 1:18:15.
