Midlands 103 commentator Joe Troy looks forward to the meeting of the two midlands counties.
Laois and Offaly are set to meet in Tullamore this evening with a place in the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship semi-finals at stake.
Last year's beaten All Ireland finalists in the grade could well have had a semi-final spot already booked, but surrendered a substantial lead to draw against Galway to finish second in the group phase.
Laois were impressive winners over Kildare in their preliminary quarter final after drawing against Wexford and losing to Kilkenny in their group.
Midlands 103 commentator Joe Troy says the defending Leinster champions will throw in as favourites this evening:
The action gets underway in O'Connor Park at 7pm, and we'll have full live commentary of the game.
Both counties have named their starting teams for this evening.
