Three and a half year deal for former captain
Former Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has been confirmed as the club's new manager.
He's signed a three-and-a-half year contract.
As a player, Arteta scored 16 goals in 150 appearances and won two FA Cups during his time in north London.
Arteta's called his appointment a huge honour and says there's a lot of work to do.
He'll start in the role on Sunday, with Freddie Ljungberg overseeing tomorrow's Premier League game against Everton.
