The Faithful had arguably their biggest scare in the Leinster final.
One of Offaly's U-20 stars believes their Leinster Final victory over Dublin was the making of them.
Declan Kelly's men outlasted Dublin by three points despite a late onslaught in O'Moore Park last July.
The Faithful went on to dispatch Cork and Roscommon in the All-Ireland series.
Clonbullogue's Keith O'Neill says provincial success gave them a new lease of confidence:
'Once we beat Dublin and secured a Leinster final, that's when we knew we could beat absolutely anyone.
We went into the Cork match - they were favourites, but we just played pure football and headed into half-time and could have been up by 10 or 12-points we were playing so well.
We just played without fear after the Dublin match, that win was a huge confidence booster for us.'
