The final score was 3-10 to 0-12 in favour of the defending champions.
While in the double-header curtain raiser in St Brendan's Park, St Cillian's came away with a three point victory over Kilcormac-Killoughey.
Last year's beaten finalists won 0-10 to 0-7.
