Rhode will play Tullamore in two weeks in time.
Tullamore are looking forward to their Offaly senior football final in two weeks time, after a dramatic semi-final over the weekend.
Their meeting with Ferbane on Sunday ended in a penalty shootout for the first time in championship history in the faithful county, with last year's champions exiting on a 9-8 scoreline.
The result capped a super turnaround for Tullamore, who lost their opening championship match to Cappincur.
Tullamore captain Johnny Moloney says it's a pity spectators will be restricted, even though the players are more focused on the pitch:
Rhode captain Anton O'Sullivan says they targetted the first half of extra-time in their win over Edenderry.
The first semi-final of the Offaly football championship needed an extra twenty minutes to separate the local rivals.
The Championship's leading scorer Niall McNamee popped up with a goal against the run of play to seal a trip to a ninth county final in succession for Rhode.
O'Sullivan also had some complimentary words for the penalties which were taken between Ferbane and Tullamore:
The final will throw in at 4pm on Sunday October 4th in Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park.
All the focus has been on the famous penalty shoot-out this weekend.
