If the Laois club can improve on last year they'll find themselves in a county final.
A county semi-final is just a step on the road to success in the Laois Senior Hurling Championship according to Castletown's Ryan Mullaney.
Mullaney's club landed a rare appearance in the last four last year, their interest in the competition was ended at that stage by the current three in a row champions Clough/Ballacolla.
Castletown are in a competitive group with last year's finalists Camross, Borris-in-ossary Kilcotton, and Abbeyleix St Lazarian's.
Speaking to Pat O'Sullivan, Mullaney says he and his club mates want more this year:
Camross and Castletown throw-in at Laois Hire O'Moore Park this evening at 7.45pm.
