This weekend sees the beginning of the Hurling Championships in Offaly.
It'll begin with two games in the Molloy Environmental Systems Senior Hurling Championship on Friday evening.
Group 1:
Birr v Kilcormac/Killoughey in Banagher at 7:30pm
Group 2:
Ballinamere v Shinrone in Rath also at 7:30pm.
The other teams in both groups will meet on Saturday evening.
Group 1:
Coolderry v Seir Kierans in Birr at 7pm.
Group 2:
St.Rynagh's v Belmont in Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park 7pm.
The Senior B Championship will also get underway with a number of fixtures.
Group 2:
Drumcullen v Kilcormac/Killoughey in Kinnitty 7pm on Friday.
Kinnitty V Lusmagh in Birr at 7pm on Sunday.
Group 1:
Tullamore v Clara in O'Connor Park 1pm on Sunday.
Clodiagh Gaels v Carrig Riverstown in Crinkle at 1pm on Sunday.
