Goals Win All Ireland Final Place For Westmeath Minor Footballers

Westmeath will be looking to avenge their Under 20 defeat to Down in the All Ireland B Championship.

Westmeath are into the tier three Minor Football Championship All Ireland Final.

It comes after a 4-12 to 1-14 victory over midlands rivals Laois at Tullamore GAA on Saturday.

Goals from James McHugh, Cormac McKeogh and a brace from Will Scahill helped the Lake County to qualify for the national decider.

Westmeath progress to take on Down in the final of the Seamus Heaney Cup on Saturday.

Throw in is set for 5pm in Breffni Park.
