
System passes battery of tests
The GAA say full testing of Croke Park’s Hawk-Eye system will be carried out this week before deciding on its use in Sunday’s All Ireland Hurling final.
A report has found that minor hardware issues contributed to a Shane Walsh point for Galway versus Derry registering as a wide in error.
The GAA say they will review their protocol into how the system would be stood down if similar problems arise in future.
