The Athlone keeper was in scintillating form against Spain on Monday.

Katie Keane is grabbing headlines with her performance against Spain on Monday.

The Athlone Town keeper made 15 saves to help Ireland to a 0-0 draw against Spain.

Keane started again this afternoon against Germany where Ireland managed to lead until the 71st minute thanks to Lia O'Leary's first half volley.

However Leonie Schetter and Layla Portella scored late on to claim all three points.

Town's Mary Phillips was a second half substitute in both games.

Elsewhere, Casey Howe was part of the Northern Ireland senior team to beat 2-0 on Tuesday evening.
