Laois open up their league with a derby against Offaly.

Laois goalkeeper Enda Rowland say's that their clash with Offaly in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1B this weekend will go down to the wire.

The game will be Tommy Fitzgerald's first competitive game with the O'Moore County after last weeknds clash with Westmeath was postponed.

Offaly will be looking to get their first win of the campaign after failing to close out their the match against Carlow in their opening encounter.

The Abbeyleix clubman insists the match will be 50-50.  

The match throws in starts at 2 o'clock at O'Moore Park on Sunday.
