The Westmeath boxer is getting to set to compete in his first professional fight in Ireland in Letterkenny, Donegal next month.
He goes up against Ghanaian Prince Oko Nartey on November 18th, hoping to make it 11 wins out of 12 fights.
Ward says that to get an opportunity to fight anywhere in Westmeath would be a dream for him.
But says that for now his full focus is on his upcoming fight:
