Both counties play away from home this evening.
The line-up for the knockout stage of the Eirgrid Leinster under-20 football championship will be settled tonight.
Both Offaly and Laois are in action this evening.
In group one, Offaly have had an up and down campaign so far, a disappointing loss to Louth in the opening round was very much tempered by victory over defending All Ireland champions, Kildare.
Ken Furlong's side will book their place in the last eight if they can secure a win over Longford in Clonguish tonight.

Elsewhere in that group, Louth will advance straight to the semi-finals if they beat Kildare in Stabannon.
Laois are certain of a quarter final slot already after their two wins against Carlow and Wexford in group two.
They face a Wicklow side in a similar position, the winners will have home advantage in their last eight tie.
