Laois Beat Kildare In Opening Game Of Minor Hurling Championship

It was a comfortable win the midlanders.

Laois have opened their Leinster Minor Hurling Championship Group Two with a convincing win over Kildare at O'Moore Park on Saturday.

Two first half goals from Eoin Delaney and a second half strike from Dan Downey helped the midlanders to a 3-18 to 11 point victory.

Elsewhere, Carlow got the better of Kerry in the other game of the group, winning on a 2-15 to 2-11 scoreline.

Next up for the O'Moore County is Carlow on Saturday with a venue to be confirmed.
