Laois Hurlers Suffer Heavy Defeat To Tipperary

Laois are set to compete in Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League and the Joe McDonagh Cup.

Laois Hurlers suffered a heavey defeat to the hands of Tipperary in a senior challenge game in Templemore last night.

Tommy Fitzgerald's men struggled to get to grips with the Munster side throughout, losing on a scoreline of 4-39 to 0-18 points.

The top points scorer on the day for the O'Moore County was PJ Scully with 5 points.

Laois start their Division 1B Allianz Hurling League campaign with a midlands derby against Westmeath on the 25th of January.
