Laois Meet Westmeath In Minor Football Semi-Final

The tier three competition has seen the midlands counties flourish.

The minor footballers of Laois and Westmeath meet this weekend with a place in an All Ireland Final at stake.

Both counties have progressed through their tier three championship in impressive fashion.

Westmeath were heavy winners against Carlow by 31 points in the preliminary quarter-finals, and were 18 points the better against Tipperary in the quarters.

While Laois were clear winners over Waterford and Antrim.

Throw in at O'Brien Park in Tullamore GAA is set for 12.30pm Saturday afternoon.
