A trip to Wexford Park this weekend is next on the Laois league agenda.
Justin McNulty has delivered his Laois footballers fighting fit for league action this year, according to former O'Moore County U20s manager, Eddie Kinsella.
The returning McNulty made a positive start to their latest attempt to emerge from Division Four of the National Football League after victory over Longford on Saturday evening.
Laois took an initially commanding lead at home to Longford, only to see the guts of that lead disappear when Darren Gallagher tucked away a penalty to get Paddy Christie's side within one point with 19 minutes left on the clock.
From there, McNulty's charges pulled a six point gap, and despite the concession of a late goal, saw out the game to claim two early points in the league.
