The work will see the addition of new pitches and improved facilities.
Over €1.5 million is being invested in a midlands soccer club.
Mullingar Athletic AFC have released a four phase facilities development plan from 2023 to 2030, with phase one having started in March this year.
It has so far seen the addition of a new floodlit 7-a-side artificial playing and training pitch, as well as dugouts added to two further pitches.
Phases two to four will take place over the coming years and will include features like resurfacing of their overflow carpark, extension of the clubhouse, a new spectator stand and exercise walkway through the club grounds.
