Simon Carr and Ammar Elamin were both involved in the series of Group II contests culminating in a playoff victory over Georgia.
Carr who has competed at this level on a number of occasions completed a straight sets victory over Georgia's Aleksandre Metreveli 6-2, 6-2 in a must win contest before also sealing the match winning doubles contest with partner David O'Hare 6-3, 6-2.
