Leo Cullen gave an injury update on his squad this afternoon.
Mullingar RFC product Conor O'Brien is facing a spell on the sidelines.
The centre was mentioned during Head Coach Leo Cullen's latest injury report to the media this morning.
The province say O'Brien will be unavailable for 'a number of months' after picking up a hamstring injury. He has made 23 appearances for Leinster since making the breakthrough in 2017.
Leinster say the injury occurred during their 12-8 victory over Ulster A in Banbridge during the international break.
There was no further update given on the calf injury issues for Birr prop Michael Milne.
Updates were also issued for a number of other senior players:
Johnny Sexton: will be unavailable for three to five weeks with a knee and ankle issue.
Jack Conan: will be further reviewed this week for a quad injury.
James Ryan: has entered the Graduated Return to Play Protocols.
Dave Kearney: will be unavailable for a few weeks following a back injury sustained in the Leinster ‘A’ game last week.
