Gillian Keenan is reflecting on Athlone Town's victory over Shelbourne in the FAI Cup Final this year.
Town took the lead through Dana Scheriff in the first half, but were pegged back by a Louise Quinn equaliser in the 75th minute.
In extra-time, Quinn doubled up with a belter in the first period and looked to have set Shels up for another Cup success.
A desparate search for cup saving equaliser ensued and Keenan arrived in the box to score a season-defining goal for Athlone.
Ciaran Kilduff's charges won their fourth consecutive shootout of the season and Keenan says her team never gives up.
