Westmeath and Laois ended their division one campaigns with defeats.
A late point consigned Offaly to a League semi final at the end of their Division 2A campaign in Tullamore on Sunday.
Kildare topped the standings after rescuing a draw against the Faithful County to leave the sides level on points but with the Lilywhites having the better scoring record.
Division 1 hurling proved a difficult experience once against for Westmeath and Laois.
Galway beat the Lake County 4-27 to 1-12, while Laois were beaten by Dublin in Parnell Park 1-29 to 0-20.
The two midlands counties will now meet in a relegation play off.
