Nicole Turner has ended a fantastic personal week by taking a silver medal in the 50m Butterfly at the World Para Swimming European Championships.
The Portarlington teenager has already picked up two bronze medals in the 200m IM and 50m Freestyle along with another silver in the 100m Breaststroke.

Her swim in the Freestyle was her first sub 36-second effort in the discipline.
Yesterday she smashed another PB in the Breaststroke final to swim a time of 1:42.45.

And in her final event just over an hour ago, she swam a time of 37.04 in her favoured event to finish second behind Eleanor Robinson of Great Britain.

It's full steam ahead now to Tokyo for the Portarlington swimmer who will have renewed confidence that she can compete for more medals on the grandest stage in a couple of months time.
