Really super efforts by all those involved.
Offaly camogie announced the winners of their jersey competition on Wednesday night last.
The competition ran for 5 weeks and having received 420 designs from children both within and outside the county, the County Board had the unenviable task of selecting a winner. After voting on the designs at their meeting on Wednesday night they posted details of the winning designs on their social media accounts afterwards.
Aaron Dooley who is a student at Scoil Náisiúnta Naomh Eoin in Rath and a member of Drumcullen GAA was the designer of the “home” jersey winning entry, while Keeva Davey of Shinrone Camogie Club was the designer of the “away” jersey.
Members of the Offaly Camogie Executive met with Aaron and Keeva to congratulate them and confirm that they will receive a replica jersey of their designs and that they and their families will be guests of Offaly Camogie at a home match when restrictions allow this.
