Offaly's only professional boxer is stepping up to a new level for his second outing in the pro ranks.
Paul Loonam delivered a polished performance on debut, winning all six rounds against Stefan Nicolae in Dublin in May.
The former amateur national champion is booked to take on Colombian fighter Yin Caicedo tomorrow evening, who has picked up 10 career wins and four draws from 32 bouts.
The 22 year old also boasts a 40% knockout rate from his ten victories.
Loonam says victory over Caicedo will open the door for an early tilt at a first championship belt:
