Offaly are bottom of Group 2, with two games left against Kilkenny and Down to avoid a relegation play-off.
In the Intermediate Championship, Westmeath had a convincing win over Carlow in Mullingar by 2-16 to 2-8.
It leaves Westmeath with two wins from their first three games, and in good shape to make the knockout stages.
