The league champions have failed to pick up a result in their three games to date.
In Group One of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship, Ballinamere have maintained their unbeaten start to their campaign while Belmont's ambitions for the Sean Robbins Cup have already been ended.
This year's league champions narrow defeat at the hands of Birr on Saturday consigned Belmont to their third consecutive loss.
The final score in Lusmagh was 1-15 to 1-14.
Ballinamere, meanwhile, won surprisingly easily against the 2022 champions, and last year's beaten finalists Shinrone.
That game finished 4-22 to 0-16.
All of which means Belmont's final game against Shinrone on the week ending September eighth will serve as a relegation play-off semi-final if Shinrone fail to get something from their next outing against Birr in just under two weeks.
Ballinamere will earn a semi-final spot if they can land another victory in their last game when they play Kinnitty on Sunday week.
