The Tullamore woman will be hoping to make her bow on the senior international stage this week.
Offaly's newest senior basketball player is paying tribute to the recently departed Richie O'Mahoney.
After representing Ireland at U18 and U20 level, Tullamore's Emma Glavin has been called up to the Ireland Women's senior squad ahead of their friendlies against Denmark and Netherlands.
The Galway Mystics player has been reflecting on her rise to the national team, and says she wouldn't be where she is today without the imput of the well liked, and highly respect coach from Tullamore Basketball Club.
Mr O'Mahoney passed away last month.
Everyone at Basketball Ireland wish to extend our deepest condolences to the O’Mahoney family on the passing of Mr. Richie O’Mahoney.
