Craig Rogers converted the decisive penalty as Portlaoise advanced to the semi-finals of the AIB Club Leinster SFC in Aughrim yesterday.
The sides finished level at St Patrick's 2-8 Portlaoise 1-11 after two periods of extra time.

They had to withstand a late rally from the Meath champions Rathoath in Mullingar but they emerged the two points winners 3-11 to 2-12 having led by 9 points with 10 minutes to go.
