Shane Lowry says it's been a career-long ambition to get to golf's Ryder Cup after being named as one of the captain's picks for the tournament.
He's been selected by Pádraig Harrington, along with Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter, to join the group to face the USA later this month.
The Offaly man says to be included is very special:

While European captain Harrington says Ian Poulter will bring more than just his experience to the Ryder Cup.
Poulter has already competed at the prestigious tournament six times.
